The Christmas Village has a new location and some new additions. A carousel will be a part of the Christmas Village festivities, setting up shop in the middle of City Hall's courtyard.
In addition to the carousel, the Christmas Village will add a few new attractions and themed evenings to its regular mix of shops and entertainment. Every Wednesday, for instance, there will be happy hour specials with mulled wine and food (Dilworth Park has its own happy hours, right next door, so feel free to happy hour hop). Tuesdays are student discount nights.
For aspiring Molly Schuylers, there will be a bratwurst eating competition on Wednesday, December 21, from 5-7 p.m.
You also won't be the only ones satiated: There will be a dog fuel station in parternship with Kylie’s Canine Treats.
Christmas Village (Philadelphia’s City Hall Courtyard and Northern Apron,
1400 JFK Boulevard) officially kicks off Nov. 26 and Nov. 27, but there will be a special preview weekend 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday.
