A Sherman Oaks man accused of shooting wife in a domestic dispute was identified Tuesday by Los Angeles police.

Muhieddine Elayal, 53, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the Monday firearms incident, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Liliana Preciado.

According to booking records, Elayal was arrested at 5:30 a.m. Monday and booked into custody at 11:15 a.m. the same day at the Van Nuys Jail.

He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail, according to records.

Elayal was arrested after a 45-year-old woman was shot at the home they share, officials said.

A City __news Service report said the woman was shot by her husband during an alcohol-fueled argument.

“A husband shot his wife during a domestic argument,” Sgt. Maria Pedroza of the LAPD’s Van Nuys Station told CNS. “She was hit in the arm, treated at the hospital and is now back home in stable condition.”

There has been no word on what the argument was about, CNS reported.

The man under arrest was under the influence of alcohol during the argument and was injured when he fell and hit his head, Pedroza added. He was hospitalized and then taken to the jail.

Another adult, believed to be the couple’s child, was in the house at the time of the shooting, said Sgt. Eric Swihart of the Van Nuys Community Police Station.

City News Service and Staff Writer Brenda Gazzar contributed to this report.

A man was airlifted to safety early Tuesday after an SUV rollover at Malibu Canyon Road south of Piuma Road in the hills of Malibu, authorities said.

The rollover happened as the result of a solo-traffic collision that left one person trapped, said Vanessa Lozano, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

California Highway Patrol Officer Leland Tang said the small SUV was traveling south on Malibu Canyon 1 mile north of Francisco Ranch Road when for unknown reasons the driver allowed his vehicle to drift out of the lane.

“Instead of taking the curve, he pretty much kept going straight,” Tang said.

The SUV then crashed into the hillside, Tang added.

The Fire Department arrived 10 minutes after the 6:50 a.m. call to find a vehicle rolled over, Lozano said. The trapped individual was transported to the hospital via helicopter, Lozano said.

Tang said the man sustained moderate injuries with a complaint of chest pain.

“There were no visible injuries,” Tang said.

The man was wearing his seat belt but it was unclear if he was using a phone or was otherwise distracted.

“There are no objective signs of impairment,” Tang said.

Tang did not immediately have the man’s age or city of residence.

CHP Officer Alex Rubio said the overturned vehicle was a Honda CR-V.

A road closure was initially put in place at northbound Las Virgenes Road at Civic Center Way and southbound Las Virgenes at Piuma Road, Rubio said.

Roadway lanes were blocked between 30 and 45 minutes, Tang said.

Southern California home sales jump 24%, but there’s a catch

Home sales in Southern California rose 24 percent in November from a year earlier as the market benefited from a couple of timing quirks, a research firm said Tuesday.

Sales made big annual gains in all six counties, said Irvine-based CoreLogic. Prices also rose.

Last month the region’s sales of new and previously owned houses and condominiums rose from 15,728 a year earlier to 19,530, the company said.

But the November 2015 sales were “artificially” weak, CoreLogic analyst Andrew LePage noted in the report.

“Federal lending rules that kicked in during October 2015 resulted in delays that caused some deals to close in December 2015 rather than November 2015,” LePage said in a statement.

This past November also had one more business day, he said. But sales were down 2 percent from October.

The median price rose 6 percent from a year earlier to $465,000 and it was unchanged from October.

CoreLogic’s report also showed that:

• In Los Angeles County, sales rose 24 percent from a year earlier to 6,450 properties, and they slipped 1 percent from October. The county’s median price increased 8 percent from a year earlier to $530,000, and it was up 1 percent from October.

• Orange County’s sales increased 21 percent from a year earlier to 2,978, and they fell 4.5 percent from October. The median price rose 6 percent from November 2015 to $660,000, and it rose 1 percent from October.

• Sales in Riverside County increased 23.5 percent from a year ago to 3,351 and increased 2 percent from October. The county’s median price increased 7 percent from a year ago to $340,000, and it was up 1.5 percent from October.

• In San Bernardino County, sales rose 28 percent from a year ago to 2,500 and were up 3.5 percent from October. The median price increased 6 percent from a year ago to $295,000 and it was up 3.5 percent month-to-month.

Granada Hills home hit by large eucalyptus tree, power lines downed

As strong Santa Ana winds buffeted the San Fernando Valley Tuesday, a 70-foot-tall eucalyptus tree fell on the roof and eaves of a single-story home in Granada Hills, causing no injuries but downing power lines to the residence, authorities said.

The incident, which was reported at 10:47 a.m. on the 17600 block of Kingsbury Street, caused minimal damages to the house, said L.A. City Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

“It was not damaged heavily,” Humphrey said, adding that the tree downed power lines from the house to a nearby pole. The lines did not appear to be snapped, he said.

The fire department spent about 20 minutes at the scene before determining there were no injuries, and firefighters left the scene when Los Angeles Department of Water and Power officials arrived, Humphrey said.

Kim Hughes of the LADWP said at 1:10 p.m. that the utility and the Los Angeles County Public Works Department were working together to remove the tree.

“A 70-foot-tall tree is going to take a bit of time to get out of the way,” Hughes said. “We have to cut it up in pieces and do it in such a way to cause the least amount of new damage possible.”

After the tree is removed, Hughes said, the department could then repair the downed wires.

Hughes did not have immediate numbers on how many power customers were affected by the incident.

Despite strong winds in the area Monday night and Tuesday morning, Humphrey said no determination could be made about the cause of the tree falling.

“We can’t say,” Humphrey said. “These things often go to litigation ... We are reminded by the city attorney that we have no expertise.”

Ever since welcoming her first child with husband Jim Edmonds this November, the new mom has chronicled many special moments with her daughter on social media.

Whether reading Aspen's first bedtime story or showcasing her latest outfit, there is plenty of cuteness happening on this Bravolebrity's page.

As for that natural delivery Meghan experienced, it sounds like it was totally worth it.

"We have a healthy, strong happy baby who loves breastfeeding and already holding her head up!" Meghan wrote on social media shortly after giving birth. "I feel like I worked out for a week straight and my throat hurts from yelling but I survived unscathed without so much as a tiny tear and now I feel like the strongest warrior on the planet."

It seemed like many of the biggest names in Hollywood found themselves in some type of beef with another celebrity, be it over years-long arguments, social media commentary, nude photos, music or what have you. It's also not surprising that some of the names involved in these spats happen to be repeat offenders.

Taylor Swift vs. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian: Though the rapper's feud with the pop star dates back to 2009 (you know, when he famously interrupted her at the MTV VMAs), things got heated again this year.

'Ye sparked controversy among her fans, family and friends when he debuted "Famous," which contains the lyrics, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous."

Though West said he spoke to Swift in advance about the lyric and got her blessing, the singer's rep said Swift was never made aware of the actual line. Then, things got even more rocky when Kim unveiled a video of Swift and West talking on the phone about the song, which seemed to prove she did, in fact, give it the OK. However, an insider said the video was edited, and Swift was still unaware that the line called her a "bitch" and talked about her owing the rapper sex.

Khloe Kardashian vs. Chloë Grace Moretz: Kim's video leak ended up creating even more beef between other stars.

For example, Moretz tweeted, "Everyone in this industry needs to get their heads out of a hole and look around to realize what's ACTUALLY happening in the REAL world. Stop wasting your voice on something so petulant and unimportant."

Of course, Kim's protective sister wasn't about to let the young star get away with that. Khloe responded to Moretz, writing, "Is this the a--hole you're referring to @ChloeGMoretz???" She included photos of what appeared to be Moretz's bare behind, but the actress later clarified it was actually a total stranger that just looked like her.

Kim Kardashian vs. Chloë Grace Moretz: While we're on the topic of Moretz and the Kardashians, we should mention she and Kim also got into it this year.

In March, the reality star shared a nude selfie with just two black bars covering her private areas. Moretz took to Twitter to voice her opinion, directing a tweet at Kim and writing, "I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies."

Kim clapped back the next day, tweeting, "sorry I'm late to the party guys I was busy cashing my 80 million video game check & transferring 53 million into our joint account."

She responded directly to Moretz, adding, "let's all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is." Ouch!

Kanye vs. Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa: The two rappers exchanged rants on Twitter in January over a misunderstood use of the initials "KK," which 'Ye thought meant Kim Kardashian but which Wiz actually used to represent a type of marijuana.

During the rant, Wets mentioned Amber Rose and and her and Wiz's toddler son, Sebastian. Being the protective mother she is, Rose chimed in with an NSFW retort about West enjoying certain sexual favors.

Luckily, the three ended up putting their differences aside as West vowed to never speak about kids again. Rose also met up with Kim, and took an Internet-breaking selfie with her to prove there's no beef.

Kanye West vs. Jay Z: Let's close out the last of Kanye's feuds with his most recent remarks directed at Jay Z and Beyoncé last month.

He left fans bewildered during a Nov. 20 concert as he said, "Beyoncé, I was hurt cos heard that you said you wouldn't perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over 'Hotline Bling,'" he told the crowd, later adding, "We are all great people. We are all equal. But sometimes, we be playing the politics too much and forgetting who we are just to win. F--k winning! F--k looking cool! F--k being cool! F--k all that!"

He concluded, "I've been sitting here to give ya'll my truth even at the risk of my own life. Even at the risk of my own success, my own career. I've been sitting here to give ya'll the truth!" He added, "Jay Z, call me , bro! You still ain't calling me. Jay Z, call me…Jay Z, I know you got killers. Please don't send them at my head. Just call me. Talk to me like a man!"

Kanye West's Most Outrageous Quotes

Taylor Swift, Katy Perry

Katy Perry vs. Taylor Swift: Though he wasn't actually involved in this rift, Kanye still managed to make his way into the beef with the two pop singers that has been going on for years now.

In the latest bout of controversy, Perry celebrated her 32nd birthday in October at the rapper's concert, during which she posted a video dancing to his "Famous" lyrics about Swift, making faces that definitely seemed to insinuate similar feelings as 'Ye.

Just a month earlier than that, Perry was asked if she would ever collaborate with Swift. Her response? "If she ever apologizes," proving the feud continues between these two singers.

Swift, on the other hand, has never mentioned Perry or their "feud," and thus, fans asked: what does Swift have to apologize for?

Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris

Getty Images

Calvin Harris vs. Taylor Swift: And since we're chatting about Swift, we might as well mention the feud between her and her ex-boyfriend that erupted after she began dating Tom Hiddleston just a few weeks following their split.

After the pop star's team revealed she helped write Harris' hit "This Is What You Came For" under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg, the Scottish DJ unleashed some fury on Twitter. "I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do," Harris tweeted (and then deleted). "I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy [Perry] ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it."

He continued, "Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you've earned a great one. God bless everyone have a beautiful day."

After the rant, Swift and Harris reportedly talked things out and are friendly now. He even thanked her for her help on "This Is What You Came For" recently.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend vs. Piers Morgan: Let's be honest, Piers Morgan has feuded with pretty much everyone on the face of the planet, but his argument with the famous couple got many people riled up.

After Muhammed Ali's death in June, the British journalist took to Twitter claiming the boxing legend was more racist than Donald Trump. Legend wrote back, "You could test us by announcing your retirement." Teigen had his back, adding, "From what? Trolling isn't a job (I've tried)."

The back and forth has continued between them ever since.

Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson

Holly Madison vs. Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett: Madison released a tell-all book about living in the Playboy mansion with Hugh Hefner and Wilkinson-Baskett, and let's just say she didn't have many good things to say.

Madison called her Girls Next Door co-star the "fakest" person she's ever met and admitted there's absolutely no love lost between the two. Wilkinson-Baskett clapped back calling Madison a "bitch" and claiming she was simply getting revenge because she didn't get to marry Hefner and have his babies.

Live With Kelly and Michael, Kelly Ripa, Michael Strahan

David M. Russell, Disney/ABC Home Entertainment and TV Distribution

Kelly Ripa vs. Michael Strahan: The former football player surprised everyone—including Ripa—when he announced his departure from Live! in April, and let's just say the weeks following the __news and his imminent exit in May were not so pleasant between the two.

Not only did Ripa often shade Strahan while working their last shows together—calling him out on his divorces, giving him side-eye and always referencing his exit—she also sent many subliminal messages, walking around with props for photographers to catch her holding. Even after his departure, she made several sly remarks.

Strahan told People later on, "I wasn't surprised by her reaction at all, but I can't control somebody else's actions."

He continued, "The most disappointing thing to me was that I was painted as the bad guy because I value the way I carry myself. I don't want people to see me as, 'Oh! He just ran out, just left them there.' That's just not true."

Finally, he said, "At one point, I think we were friends. I don't know what happened at the end. I learned a lot from her. It's about more than just being in front of the camera."

Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez

Mariah Carey vs. Jennifer Lopez: This feud has gone on since the '90s—you know, that iconic moment in which Mimi told paparazzi she'd never heard of Jennifer Lopez—but that doesn't make it any less juicy.

J.Lo chatted about the comment earlier this year, telling Wendy Williams, "[Mariah] is forgetful I guess! We've met many times."

A few weeks later Carey laughed when paps mentioned it and quipped, "I still don't know her!" Ouch!

Dwayne Johnson vs. Vin Diesel: Though the turmoil still remains a bit unclear, in August, Johnson posted a cryptic message on Instagram, slamming his male co-stars from Fast 8.

"Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't," he wrote. "The ones that don't are too chicken s--t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses."

Diesel appeared to respond to the post, taking to Instagram a few days later in a video message. "So much has gone on this year. I can't believe I wrapped two back-to-back pictures I both starred in and produced," he said. "Now I get to return to my family, my life...So give me a second, and I will tell you everything. Everything."

In November, Johnson admitted he didn't regret the comments. "I was very clear with what I said. I've been in the game a long time. Would Universal [Pictures] have preferred that didn't happen? Sure, we talked about it," he said. "The irony is after that...the interest [in Fast 8] shot through the roof to a whole other level."

Russell Crow, Azealia Banks

Azealia Banks vs. Russell Crowe: The singer claimed the Oscar winner got physical with her during a hotel party in October.

She took to Facebook, claiming the incident went down at a Beverly Hills hotel suite where Crowe "called me a n----r, choked me, threw me out and spat at me." She demanded a public apology and even filed a police report against the actor.

However, many eyewitnesses were at the party and defended Crowe, claiming Banks was, in fact, the "assaultive" one. He was later cleared from the case.

Kendall Jenner, Stephanie Seymour, Gigi Hadid

Stephanie Seymour vs. Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid: During an interview in June, the former model claimed Jenner and Hadid weren't "supermodels." Rather, she said they should be called, "Bitches of the moment."

Both Jenner and Hadid spoke out about the comment. Kendall even took to her app to pen a blog post about how she'll behave differently in the future. "When I'm older, I'm going to be so nice to anyone who's trying to do the same thing as me...That's the classy way to behave and I fully intend on being a positive influence on anyone younger than me, my entire life."

Seymour eventually clarified her statement, saying,  "A supermodel is a supermodel. I respect and admire all these women in my industry, in particular Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner. Having been in the business over 20 years I know how hard these women work. Bravo to both Gigi and Kendall for their success!!"

Guy Fieri, Anthony Bourdain

Getty Images

Anthony Bourdain vs. Guy Fieri: Yes, the famous chefs have continued to beef.

The feud began in 2015 when Bourdain poked fun at Fieri in a magazine, saying, "I wonder about him. He's 52 years old and still rolling around in the flame outfit…What does he do? How does Guy Fieri de-douche?"

Fieri later fired back, saying Bourdain has "definitely gotta have issues, 'cos the average person doesn't behave that way."

Earlier this year, Bourdain softened his stance about Fieri, saying, "I have no hate in my heart for the guy. He doesn't make me angry. He's just low-hanging fruit. He's a rich and deep source of comedy."

However, his mood seemed to change by June when he told Adweek, "I would greatly prefer to not have a Guy Fieri restaurant in Times Square...It hurts me. It offends me, but somebody clearly loves it."

The Best Celebrity Emojis From Jean-Claude Van Damme to Kim Kardashian and Beyond

Kanye West said emojis are the language of the future, and if we're basing that hypothesis on celebrities' current involvement in developing the little cartoons for our phone, he might just be right.

Kim Kardashian was one of the first celebrities to unveil her Kimoji icons, which came complete with a thong-wearing booty, a middle finger and even her famous crying face. Since then, everyone from Blac Chyna to Stephen Curry and, most recently, Jean-Claude Van Damme have released their own emoji keyboard.

Here are some of our favorites from the biggest names in the celeb-moji game:

Best Celebrity Emojis, Jean-Claude Van Damme

Jean-Claude Van Damme: The actor—known as JCVD—is famous for his martial arts movies, which makes sense why he'd choose that theme for his VanDammeoji. The keyboard brings a touch of bad ass that's necessary for any texting conversation.

Best Celebrity Emojis, Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian: Kimojis have changed quite a bit over time, and while the thong-butt emoji will be a forever favorite, Kim's new, more-realistic emojis are pretty hilarious. We die over the Kylie Jenner face and totally commend Kim for her latest addition, featuring her cartoon self flipping everyone off while holding her phone as "The OG" is printed across her chest. Perhaps a jab at all the celebs who've taken on emojis after her?

Best Celebrity Emojis, Blac Chyna

Blac Chyna: Kim's sister-in-law-to-be also has her own emoji keyboard, which are a bit raunchier than the 36-year-old's. The Chymojis are all pretty great, but we love the ones that make naughty jokes or reference Rob Kardashian. We also can't help but laugh that Chyna even made one out of her mug shot!

Best Celebrity Emojis, Amber Rose

Amber Rose Just like Chyna and Kim, the model has her own set of Muvamojis. Not only do these bring out our inner diva, they also make hilarious (and sometimes risque) pop culture references. By the way, the "hungover AF" speech bubble is pretty much a necessity every Sunday...

Best Celebrity Emojis, Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber We can't help but laugh at the fact that the Justmojis reference some of the singer's most controversial moments—you know, like that time he peed in a mop bucket!

Best Celebrity Emojis, Stephen Curry

Steph Curry: The basketball MVP's Stephmoji set wouldn't be complete without including his adorable daughter, Riley, and his amazing wife, Ayesha. We also love that he references Drake's lyrics, "Chef Curry with the pot, boy!"

Best Celebrity Emojis, Dennis Graham

Dennis Graham: Speaking of Drizzy, his father Dennis even has his own emojis. Any reference made to the rapper and anything that involves Dennis throwing up the middle finger or smoking a little somethin-somethin' (because, obviously, he's related to Drake) is a necessary emoji for us.

Best Celebrity Emojis, Wiz Khalifa

Wiz Khalifa If there's one thing we know about the rapper, it's that he loves to get high. He used his Wizmojis to showcase that passion.

Best Celebrity Emojis, Future

Future: Just like Wiz, the "Low Life" rapper teamed up with Moji for his own set of emojis, which often reference his music or the important people in his life. For example, he has one featuring him and Drake in cartoon form and another that shows him riding a surfboard while drinking purple juice (a likely reference to his song "Jersey"). He also has an emoji of himself dressed up like Jesus, referencing a meme that went viral this year.

Best Celebrity Emojis, Rick Ross

Rick Ross: Any emoji that shows Rick Ross' face in the shape of a pear or makes reference to his many chains, his desire to make it rain or his snarling face are important to us.

Best Celebrity Emojis, Fetty Wap

Fetty Wap If you've ever wanted to text your friends about cookin' pies with your baby, now you can, thanks to Fetty Wap's emoji set (which comes complete with a "1738" sign).

Best Celebrity Emojis, The Game

The Game The rapper made it possible for us to say "Bye Felicia" and throw up the westside sign without writing anything at all!

Who Made It Out of Scream Queens Season 2 Alive?

Scream Queens

YouTube

Warning: The following contains spoilers from the season two finale of Scream Queens. If you haven't watched yet, you may want to bookmark this page and return once you have. Proceed with caution.

It's all over, idiot hookers! Season two of Scream Queens came its startling conclusion tonight, bringing with it a whole new meaning to the term "fresh hell." So, who survived, who died and who made a surprising return? Let's get right to it!

As with season one, pretty much everyone expected to make it out alive did. Dean Munsch's (Jamie Lee Curtis) deadly Kuru was revealed to be (by a genius Chanel #5 [Abigail Breslin], no less) nothing more than extreme dehydration. Using scotch as the only liquid in your life will do that sort of things to a person! Zayday (Keke Palmer) talked her way out of another well, convincing Cassidy's mom that she'd raised a good son (you know, despite all the killing he'd done for her). And Denise Hemphill (Niecy Nash) popped up just in the nick of time, proving that Munsch's cryo-chamber worked after all.

Of course, not everyone made it out alive. After her attempt to blow everyone to smithereens was thwarted by the FBI's favorite back-from-the-dead agent, Nurse Hoffel (Kirstie Alley) got swallowed up by some pesky quicksand (building a hospital against a swamp continued to prove itself to be a bad idea), but not before she got in one last kill, lodging a machete right into Cassidy's (Taylor Lautner) chest. And with that, all three Green Meanies had met their maker and the horrors facing the C.U.R.E. Institute were officially behind them.

With Zayday and #5 running the hospital, Brock (John Stamos) and Hester (Lea Michele) hunting tourists, Most Dangerous Game-style, on Blood Island thanks to Munsch's fortunes, Munsch tucked away in Aspen living as a sex therapist, and Chanel (Emma Roberts) the newly-minted host of Lovin' the C (with Chanel #3 [Billie Lourd] as her EP of course!), it seemed like everybody got there happy ending.

Of course, that is until Chanel got into her car outside the studio, only to notice the Kappa pin on her passenger seat just as the Red Devil made his surprising return in her back seat. Was this the end of the road for Chanel Oberlin? Don't be silly. She'll never die...right?

What did you think about the finale? Hoping that Fox orders a third go-round with the Chanels? And who do you think resurrected the Red Devil? (Our money's on Grace!) Let us know in the comments below.

Don't put those final roses down just yet, Bachelor in Paradise fans.

While it's been a rough month with the __news that Amanda Stanton and Josh Murray split as well as Lace Morris and Grant Kemp calling off their engagement, there are some duos still making it work in the public eye.

Over the past several days, many stars from Bachelor in Paradise have been enjoying a cast reunion at the Atlantis Hotel on Paradise Island.

And in between resting and relaxing, cast members Carly Waddell and Evan Bass are proving their love is very much alive and well. After getting engaged this past summer on the ABC reality show, this duo is the last couple from their season to remain together. But from the looks of things, everything is a-okay with this pair.

"Happy Birthday to @theebass at Atlantis! Love you SO MUCH and had such a great day at @thecoveatlantis celebrating your birth! Haha" Carly shared on social media while kissing her fiancé on the lips. "I'm so glad u were born #atlantiscelebrations."

As for season two couple Jade and Tanner, they remain happily married even after a dramatic season of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. In fact, Tanner got quite romantic when wishing his leading lady a special birthday during the trip.

"Happiest of Birthdays to my best friend and partner in crime... our second spent together and first as husband and wife... you changed my world and I am so thankful you came into my life," he gushed online. "Excited to spend this day with you - 30 never looked so good... love you @jadelizroper."

Jared Haibon, Ashley Iaconetti and her sister Lauren Iaconetti also made the trip.

Before you know it, Bachelor in Paradise alum Nick Viall will have another chance at finding the one when he becomes The Bachelor.

In a new promo released just in time for the holidays, viewers were promised a single bachelor who is "definitely no saint." Does that mean he can't join this group's trip to Atlantis next year with a special someone?

Guess we have to tune in The Bachelor beginning January 2 to find out.
