A man was killed and another critically wounded in a double shooting late Friday afternoon outside a barbershop in the city's Hunting Park section, police said.
The shooting occurred just after 4:10 p.m. in the 600 block of Rising Sun Avenue. A 30-year-old man was shot twice in the head and twice in the chest. He was taken by private vehicle to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:27 p.m.
The second victim, a 24-year-old man, was shot in the shoulder. He also was taken by private vehicle to Temple and was listed in critical condition. Police reported no arrests.
