City to buy back guns Saturday in West Oak Lane

City officials will offer an anonymous gun buy-back event Saturday at the Simons Recreation Center in West Oak Lane.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., officials will accept guns - no questions asked - in exchange for gift cards from ShopRite, Villa, Five Below, Forman Mills, and other businesses.

The buy-back, at 7200 Woolston Ave., is presented by City Councilmembers Cindy Bass and Cherelle Parker, the 14th and 35th Police Districts, and state Reps. Stephen Kinsey and Tonyelle Cook-Artis.
