Get ready for #TrueDetectiveSeason2! Oh, we're not doing that hashtag anymore because the cast for True Detective has already been set with Vince Vaughn, Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch? OK, cool.

Farrell will play Ray Velcoro, a "compromised detective" in the industrial City of Vinci in LA County. Vaughn is Frank Semyon, a criminal entrepreneur married to a conflicted Kelly Reilly. McAdams is Ani Bezzerides, a Ventura County Sheriff's detective who often finds herself "at odds with the system she serves." Friday Night Lights' Kitsch is Paul Woodrugh, a war vet and motorcycle cop. Kitsch's character makes a discovery—a "bizarre murder"—that triggers all three law enforcement officers coming together.
