Khloé Kardashian may be going lighter with her own tresses, but don't expect another Kim Kardashian drastic 'do.
While catching up with the DASH doll, who was promoting the Kardashian Beauty Hair Care and Styling line at ULTA Beauty's West Hills store in Beverly Hills Thursday, Khloé explained why she opted to lighten up her usual look while also mentioning why she'd never go as far as her sister.
"I've always been ombré, well not always, but a few years now. And I was just like, I'm kinda over it, it could get orange easily. So I went a little lighter and then, just a week ago, I went even a little lighter," she tells E! News.

"I need a root because I can't be like Kim, I can't go all one color. It's very fashiony for Kim," Koko adds, but the intense maintainence needed to keep such a color going was just too much.
"She was getting her hair colored like every few days. I don't have the energy."
It seems like it was a bit much for Kim, too. Shortly after debuting the bright hairstyle, the 34-year-old decided to go back to her brunette roots.
A source close to the family revealed that the dye job was performed by celeb colorist Lorri Goddard (who also took Kim's locks to pale blond on March 5) and explained at the time, "She goes to Armenia next week and wanted to be a brunette for Armenia."
"She really did it just for Paris Fashion Week and that's over so she figured now it was time to go back to normal."
