Whether you're ridin' dirty or just ridin' in the passenger seat, rap like you mean it.
That's exactly what one lovely lady was doing in the car with her husband, expertly spitting out the line to Salt-N-Pepa's 1994 hit "None of Your Business." Only, much to her (apparent) surprise, the wife notices her man is recording her performance on his iPhone!
Before this, though, the wife raps each and every lyric with conviction. She even seat-dances to the beat, gets serious with double pointer fingers and brushes the dirt off her shoulder. This all goes down, of course, before she sees her man's taping the whole thing!
Hubs first posted his video of "the cutest gangsta I know" to YouTube on Saturday. In its description, he gushed: "My wife is THE most beautiful human being I know and I absolutely adore the moments I get to watch her being herself. Don't be shy people, say you love your loved ones, treasure the little moments and don't worry if people are judging you!"
Sweet, right? On Sunday, he posted the same clip to Reddit, and that's when things really took off. There, the rap protege's man, who also goes by the username SirPrise, said he and his wife were both "overwhelmed" with the amount of attention they'd received.
He also reassured a viewer he wasn't actively driving and filming his wife, explaining he "was approaching a stop and most of the video is done at the stop."
"I agree it's dangerous to film with your phone while driving," he added. "Couldn't resist though."
Back to YouTube, though! In the original video's description, all questions and inqiuries to a Paolo at East End Project, a studio specializing on creative marketing, production and the like. Keep tumbling down the Google rabbit hole and you'll quickly see Mr. Salomao is a partner and creative director at the aforementioned East End Project.
Perhaps the Salt-N-Pepa cuteness in the car was a funny moment he just wanted to share with the world. But, if in a few days SirPrise is hawking a dating site, reality show or something not completely off the cuff, at least your optimistic internet conscience will be prepared for it.
