Kris Jenner is opening up about her relationship with ex Bruce Jenner after filing for divorce from him just over three weeks ago.
Despite the recent divorce filing and being officially separated for about one year, the 58-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch says she and Bruce are still "really close."
"I think we have a really close family period," Kris told E! News exclusively at last night's Fifth Annual PSLA Autumn Party benefiting Children's Institute in L.A. "And we have so great memories over 25 years. We have a lot of stuff going on with our family and the holidays are coming and it's tradition. We have two kids together and we want to set a really good example for our family."

Kris went on, "At one point in my life I saw somebody else go through a divorce and they handled it with such grace and such love and I thought, 'If I'm ever in that situation, I want to be able to do the same thing for my children.' I think it's the best thing you can give your kids. If you're not going to be able to stay together, then at least make it really comfortable for the whole family so that they know there's a lot of love there. That's what I believe."
Well said!
Kris officially filed for divorce from Bruce on Sept. 22 citing irreconcilable difference as the reason for the split. Bruce filed a response the very next day.
Meanwhile, Kris says Bruce will definitely appear in the upcoming tenth season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which just started filming this week. So has there been any family drama during the first few days of shooting?
"Nope!" Kris revealed to us. "We're doing good!"
Nice to hear!
