Kate Middleton has a new stylist, which may explain her, well, more sexy style choices in recent weeks.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who is expecting her second child with Prince William in April, is beginning to step out to select engagements since recovering from hyperemesis gravidarum. Middleton has been sporting a higher hemline and looks that steer slightly from her usual fashion fare—we're talking cut-outs, sheer panels and a gown with a thigh-high slit.
Natasha Archer, who goes by "Tash" around Kensington Palace, is a 27-year-old personal assistant who has been purportedly been helping Kate get event-ready in the last few weeks, as reported by Vanity Fair. According to the magazine's sources, Kate makes the final decision on what she will wear to official appearances, but Archer has definitely had a hand in her recent wardrobe choices.
In her first appearance since announcing her pregnancy, Kate stepped out in a fitted Alexander McQueen coatdress that showcased her teeny-tiny bump. She went out later that night in an ice-blue Jenny Packham gown that featured a peek-a-boo slit.
For her third outing, a Temperley London fit-and-flare frock was the outfit of choice. The woven design—equipped with sleeve cut-outs and a sexy nude underlay—sold out in less than 24 hours from the brand's website. The dress was also above the knee (we know, we know: so risqué).
In reality, Kate's new style choices are not that out of the ordinary and, if anything, the real change in her appearance might be that telltale pregnancy glow.
