Ready for a recap of Jim Carrey's Halloween-themed Saturday Night Live hosting gig? Well, alriiiiighty then!
The 52-year-old funnyman, known for his wild, often over-the-top performances, returned to the NBC sketch series on Saturday to play host for the third time in 18 years and three weeks before the release of his latest film, Dumb and Dumber To, the sequel to the hit 1994 comedy film. The episode featured a cameo from his co-star, Jeff Daniels.
During the show, Carrey parodied Matthew McConaughey's melodramatic Lincoln ads, while the rest of the cast did their best impressions of...Carrey, complete with a slew of his most memorable movie one-liners. Carrey also showcased some of his best theatrical dance skills.
Rapper Iggy Azalea was the musical guest. She performed a medley of her summer hit "Fancy" and "Black Widow," with duet partner Rita Ora, and also debuted her new song, "Beg for It."

1. Helvis is in the building
During his monologue, Carrey appeared in a red costume with long horns, explaining that he was Helvis, a devilish Elvis Presley. In the 1999 film Man on the Moon, Carey had famously played late iconic comedian and TV star Andy Kaufman, who would often do a mock parody of Elvis during his offbeat performances, including on SNL.
"We all know that Helvis went to Heaven. That's easy enough to prove," Carrey said. "But while he was here, he did like to raise a little Hell. He also really loved peanut butter and banana sandwiches. But eventually he came to an important realization. Man cannot live on fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches alone. What about desert?"
2. Jim Carrey parodies Matthew McConaughey's Lincoln commercials—three times
"Sometimes you gotta go back to actually go back to actually move forward and I don't mean go back and reminisce or chase ghosts," Carrey says in one of the spoofs, mimicking McConaughey Texas accent. "I mean take a BIG step back, like go from winning an Oscar to doing a car commercial. My agent was like, "I can understand if you did this right after The Lincoln Lawyer. That would've made sense."
"When I'm done rolling up this bugger, should I eat it or throw it out the window?" he asks. "Feels good. Like a tiny little tennis ball."
Another spoof ad parodied the Allstate auto insurance commercials and also starred Kenan Thompson.
McConaughey has not responded to the parodies. He won his first Oscar earlier this year for his role in Dallas Buyers Club and was also nominated for an Emmy for his performance in the HBO series True Detective. He can be seen next in the sci-fi movie Interstellar, which also stars Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, John Lithgow, Topher Grace and Ellen Burstyn.
The Lincoln Motor Company responded on Twitter to the spoof ads, taking the opportunity to promote one of its models and saying, "We can take a joke."

5. Carey "dances" in nude costume
In an office costume contest skit, Carrey and Kate McKinnon dressed as Sia from the "Chandelier" music video, wearing nude-colored leotards. So who should win the competition? This calls for a "Chandelier dance-off," of course! The two danced theatrically through several stages and sets, including one where Azalea was standing, so she joined in the fun.
Next week, Chris Rock will host SNL, while Prince will perform.
