The four months since Kendra Wilkinson Baskett gave birth to daughter Alijah Mary have not been easy.
But the mother of two hasn't been entirely consumed with marital drama stemming from accusations that Hank Baskett, her husband of five years, cheated on her with a transgender model, rumors that surfaced after they welcomed their daughter.
Kendra has also been trying to find the time to take care of her body post-baby, and she does believe that she's found the right regimen for herself, a diet that has the 55 pounds she gained during her second pregnancy just "melting off."

"During my pregnancy, I started at 120 and ended up at 175," she revealed to Giuliana Rancic during an exclusive interview for the special Beyond Candid With Giuliana: Kendra Wilkinson Baskett.
"I researched the perfect diet for after baby... I love meat, I love vegetables, it's low-carb…it's working so good," Kendra gushed, referring to the celeb-favorite Atkins diet, which she credits for losing so much weight so quickly.
"I'm an athlete, I thought I would lose the weight so fast right after having the baby, but I didn't," Kendra recalled, referring to her first pregnancy with son Hank IV, now 4 1/2. "I learned the pounds don't just shed off. You have to go on a diet and really take care of your body."
And she's got the post-baby bod to prove it—though the 29-year-old told G. that she wasn't quite where she wanted to be just yet.

"I'm still getting there," she said. "I'm back in my jeans but I'm not at my goal yet. I still have a little bit of work to do."
Atkins is just the beginning, though—watch the clip to hear all of Kendra's weight-loss secrets.
"Just wanted to say thank you for all the support," she wrote in a lengthy tweet. "This has been the most challenging 4 months of my life, and I've been focusing on being the best me I can be, for myself and for my babies. While some moments are sacred, fact is… I've lived my life in front of cameras for the last 10 years, so I chose to allow cameras to tell even the hard stories.
"I don't think it's fair or truthful to only show the good and not the bad. I don't have all the answers, but like you, I'm a mother, a wife, a daughter and a woman, and struggles are a part of life and I am not afraid to admit that my life is not perfect. Thank you for the love… I've missed you all!"
